We are back from the adventure and we’re SOOO glad to be finally home
There were so much to see & do on the road, but unfortunately, it was really challenging for us to keep up with our exercise. Mainly because we had a specific schedule to get to our destination and there wasn’t much time left for us. And after we got to the destination, we were with our family and….once again, we struggled to find time
It was so frustrating for me and I felt pretty disgusted by not getting enough exercise.
Now I returned home and I’m sitting in front of my laptop, really drugging my feet to write this post. Don’t get me wrong, we had a fun road trip. But I just don’t think I did a good job on following through my expectation. And since this is a blog where I write down how I keep with my exercise & weight loss every day, I feel like I have failed.
This feeling doesn’t seem to go away anytime soon and I need to sit with it for a while.
Anyway….other than that, like I mentioned, the trip was fun! On the first day, we stopped at Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington D.C., where we spent a night. We actually got a nice walk there This slideshow requires JavaScript.
My husband mapped the route we walked in three different versions:

And here’s the distance we walked:
Although we did early morning walking during our family visit, this walking in Washington D.C. was the longest one. It was also the prettiest one, because all the cherry blossoms were in full bloom!!
We are going back to our regular schedule starting tomorrow! I hope I can get my groove back soon ![]()
